From April 1st 2010, the government has announced that they will be supporting and guaranteeing the Feed In tariff scheme for renewable technologies.

We have teamed up with 1st4Solar to offer our customers great Solar deals and an even better level of service. 1st4Solar are one of Teeside’s largest electrical contractors with large contracts with National companies. They employ their own installers and are members of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme, a prerequisite for fitting solar panels for the Feed In Tariff scheme.

Feed In Tariffs for Solar PV Panels are an index linked, tax free, guaranteed payment for 25 years. The FIT is paid out by the utility companies not the government. Utility companies are at present allowed to make a charge of £2 per household per month to pay for these FIT payments. A 4 KW array fitted on the roof of your property would cost less than £14,000, payback time is about 7 years and from year 8 to 25 you would be in profit yearly, plus you are using the electricity for free.

Solar PV panels generate electricity when a certain level of light hits the panels, it does not need to be full on sunlight. The panels that we fit have the highest sunlight to electricity efficiency conversion rate of any MCS certified solar panels on the market today.

Our accredited surveyor will carry out a site inspection and discuss with you the best and most efficient placement of any solar PV panel. An approximate costing will be given at the appointment time, but a full quotation will follow.
